Synaptic Medical Headquarter

This property was first built in 1995 as a printing factory with one floor reinforced concrete structure. In 2007, Korea Lotte packaging factory added two floors of steel structure. In 2021, Synaptic Medical, which focuses on cardiac electrophysiological devices, rented the property and decided to renovate it into its headquarter. “Simplicity, Purity and Eternity” is the grand vision of the project put forward by the founder of Synaptic Medical at the beginning of the design. The design process revolves around this vision. In addition to fully respecting the practical function of the first floor as a manufacturing factory, it puts forward a very high standard in aesthetics. The design uses simple and pure concrete materials, combined with timeless arch forms and poetry of light and shadow, and expects that the indoor and outdoor spaces of this headquarter can reach the artistic quality comparable to the level of the museum. The interior design of the office part of the headquarter fully respects the material nature of concrete and steel structure, and coordinates with the architectural design with a simple industrial style. On the entrance lawn, the main landscape design feature is that Synaptic people will plant a ginkgo tree by themselves when the project construction is completed. “Ten years to grow a tree! A hundred years to grow an enterprise”! This ever-growing ginkgo tree will witness the prosperity of Synaptic Medical.
