FLOWER BLOSSOM: The indoor and outdoor public space design of Grand Plaza’s Shopping Center takes the “flower blossom” which is very attractive to the target customers as the theme, and each public space uses the modern design language originated from the shape of the “flower”. Starting from the “Petal Arch” at the main entrance of the shopping center, the periphery is “In Bud” and the center is “In Full Bloom”. A series of “flower” theme elements play a role in driving the flow of people and welcoming the “Blooming Center” shaped by the central square. The whole space experience can be summarized as “come to the prosperous age and see the flowers bloom”. BETWEEN BAMBOO FORESTS: The public space design of Grand Plaza’s office and apartment building’s theme is “between the bamboo forests”, corresponding to the “flourishing age of flowers” theme of the shopping center. The main elevation of the double-height lobby of the office building creates the artistic conception of deep in the bamboo forest through the convex stone shape scattered from bottom to top. The application of copper metal plates runs through the public space of the shopping center, office buildings and apartments, so that the overall spatial experience of MCC Shijiazhuang Grand Plaza can be continued and unified.
