Way Design Lands a Win in the 2023 MUSE Design Awards

New York, NY (Apr 14, 2023) The MUSE Creative and Design Awards have released their lists of winners for their competitive season of 2023. Hosted by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the competitions had received over 6,300 entries from across the globe, proving themselves to be leading award programs that honor creative and design professionals. For its 2023’s competitive season, Way Design lands the Platinum award in Restaurants & Bars Interior Design, Gold award in Institutional Architectural Design, Silver awards in Educational Interior Design & Institutional Landscape Design.

Grand Jury Panel:Out of the numerous applicants from 15 countries, the competition settled on 51 jurors. These highly-respected professionals are held in high esteem in their respective industries and are affiliated with renowned organizations in the creative and design industries. For example, President, North America at Clarity PR – Jon Meakin, Founder/CCO of Cutwater – Chuck McBride, VP, Brand & Creative Services of PubMatic, Inc. – Imelda Suriato, Associate Creative Director at McCann NY – Alexandre Kazuo Kubo, Group Creative Director at Ogilvy NY – Mohamed DiaaEldin Osman, Principal Architect and Landscape Architect at Studio Arth LLC – Rituparna Simlai, Senior Architect at Tiago do Vale Architects – Tiago do Vale, Director of DesignAware – Takbir Fatima, Founder, hcreates interior design – Hannah Churchill, Founder and Creative Director of IN.X Design – Wu Wei, to name a few. Other than employing industry-relevant standards in judging entries, impartiality was also enforced with the blind judging method. This meant that entries were evaluated by multiple judges without being compared with other submissions, meaning that each winning work had decisively won with their own merits.

Way Design is shortlisted for The Asia Educational Environment Design Awards

Shenzhen, P.R. China (April 20, 2023) The Asia Educational Environment Design Awards (AEEDA) have released their shortlists for their competitive season of 2022 – 2023. Way Design’s project Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School has been shortlisted for Architectural Design Category, Avenues Learning Innovation Center has been shortlisted for Interior Design Category, and Avenues Shenzhen G1-G9 School Landscape has been shortlisted for Landscape Design Category. Way Design’s design partner Ms. Wei Wei has been nominated for the AEEDA Outstanding Designer Award. 

Our projects will be exhibited at “The 7th International Symposium on Planning and Design of Contemporary K-12 Education Buildings” in Shenzhen from March 31 to April 1, 2023. In addition, they will be exhibited at “The 2nd International Forum on Campus Planning and Facilities Design of Higher & Vocational Education and Award Ceremony” in Shanghai from June 16 to 17, 2023. 

The Asia Educational Environment Design Awards (AEEDA) recognize projects, groups, companies, and individuals that have influenced and driven the improvement of educational environments, facilities, and learning space innovations in the region. Through rigorous procedures and high-quality selection criteria, AEEDA will discover innovative and exemplary projects, outstanding designers, and enterprises, as well as high-quality equipment and technologies, and promote the continuous updating of educational facilities to adapt to future changes in education and learning methods.

 The Asia Educational Environment Design Awards are currently the only regional award for educational environment design in Asia. The award jury members are all well-known and authoritative experts from the China mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan regions of China, Japan, Singapore, India, Australia, and the United States. The jury members specialize in architectural design, interior design, pedagogy, psychology, ergonomics, and other disciplines. They can objectively and fairly evaluate entries from multiple perspectives.

Vice Chairman of the Jury Panel includes Georg Pichler – Partner of HENN Architecture, Ron Vitale – China Director of Perkins Eastman, Chun Huang – Principal of Beijing No.4 Middle School and etc.
