FREE&FLUID Children in the 21st century need more possibilities and richer life experiences. We hope to create a “new school” that belongs to the future: she is efficient, complex, multi-functional and gives children and even parents the possibility of diverse learning and training; she is free, mobile, interactive and creates sufficient, comfortable, and interesting communication space through innovative architectural forms. We value the importance of public space in school education. Through the “free and fluid” public space, we create rich spatial emotions, giving children a rich visual experience and a suitable place to communicate. Through staggered roof gardens and internal courtyards, our design gives children an interesting and unique spatial experience, creating a modern campus with a strong cultural atmosphere and a vibrant environment in harmony with the natural and urban landscape. We blur the boundary between the ground and upper floors and make every single upper floor next to outdoor playground spaces just like a normal ground floor would have. Our ultimate goal is to establish openness, connectivity, interpenetration in an interesting and intriguing spatial environment, which we believe is essential to the young kids’ learning experience.
